Resort Family Fun and Stuff

As promised, here are more vacation pictures!
Our first day at the Marriott at Ko'Olina on Oahu. When we arrived at Honolulu my parents picked us up and drove us 30 minutes north to the large gated- in resort. It had more tall buildings than Bellingham. Our room number was 20822. We got lost coming from the beach to our room twice on the first day.

Matthew and Ceci being topless in the $30 cabana at the Marriott. The cabana was radical. My old sucky job was at a Dermatology clinic, and I now have melanoma paranoia. My girl's flesh will never see the sun. Never ever. Neither will mine. But that is because I'm vain, and the sun= crocodile skin.

Topless again at the Japanese- built lagoon in front of our resort. In case you're wondering, these sunglasses infuriated her and she only wore them for this one picture before she tore them off and screamed at the top of her lungs.

Here's my Mom enabling some flirting with a very cute Latino baby named Rodolfo. We stalked him and his Mom a little bit. They were both very sassy. The resort was maybe 65% Japanese and 35% Caucasian, but my baby scouted out the one and only Latino toddler there. She's a girl after my own heart.

In case you can't tell, the "water feature" is simply a very phallic lava rock spurting water from the tip. Creepy. Why? Things like this make me want to write letters to the management. Like my mind isn't twisted enough. This type of "art" confounds me, is it a psychology experiment?

Reading the biography of my sister from another mister.

Apparently wading with a baby with no water wings or life saving device is just cause for Australian mums to yell at you from the beach. Eat me bitches.

Vacation pictures to be continued...

  1. Ceci is awesomely adorable! Great photos- you look fabulous in that last one with Ceci. Your grin is fantastic- I can almost see you mouthing the words "Eat me bitches." Now you've made me long for pretty blue waters- I want to go to there (and I love Tina Fey and can't wait to get my hands on that book once I remember how to read again). Looking forward to more photos...
